Compost is the lifeblood of the farm.

It is the link between the plants and the animals, an interaction necessary for any sustainable farm.

All of the animals contribute (in abundance), and all of the plants are sustained by the resulting nutrient-rich humus. Since the animals are fed by grasses and grains grown on the farm, we can be sure of the exceptional quality, safety, and healthiness of the animals themselves, as well as the plants grown in compost produced from their waste.

This plant-animal partnership is the key to ensuring that everything produced on The Living Farm is organic, sustainable, and completely free of antibiotics and chemicals.
